We were approached by NY based agency Established to create a custom handwritten typeface for Rare Beauty, Selena Gómez's new cosmetic brand. The brief was to develop an spontaneous, fresh and young looking handwritten typeface. Rare Script (aligned with the brand name Rare Beauty) is used to stress expressions and highlight keywords across the branding, packaging system and communication. Selena loved it so much, that she even got it tattoed. Click here for visual proof.

Rare Script aims to embrace the imperfection of handwriting and through that helps supporting and communicating the vision of Rare Beauty: creating a safe, welcoming space and share the love for the imperfect beauty in people.
