Empowering the next generation of creatives

Adobe and I share a belief that education plays a key role in shaping creative careers.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with Adobe through Adobe Live, Adobe MAX, and other collaborations — sharing how lettering design works, why letterforms matter, and how creative tools support professional practice. Supporting scholarships for The Lettering Seminar feels like a natural next step: moving from sharing knowledge to directly supporting creatives who want to learn and grow.

How a scholarship changed my path

Education changed everything for me.

I grew up in South America, and pursuing higher education abroad would not have been financially possible without support. Receiving a scholarship allowed me to access an education that completely changed the direction of my career. It gave me the opportunity to specialize, to discover lettering design as the work I truly wanted to do, and to build a professional path around it.

That experience stayed with me. It taught me that talent exists everywhere — but access does not.

Supporting scholarships today is my way of opening that door for others who are motivated, committed, and ready to learn, but who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

Powered by Adobe, these scholarships make high-level professional lettering education accessible to creatives around the world.

Through this support, what might otherwise remain a personal passion or side interest can become a real professional path. Grounded in structure, clarity, and long-term vision.

For past scholars, the impact went far beyond financial access. The experience brought confidence, direction, and a sense of belonging. It helped them move from uncertainty to clarity, from working alone to being part of a community, and from seeing lettering as a hobby to stepping into it as a serious professional pursuit.
