My creative journey has truly excelled, as I have been fortunate enough to be a part of Big Ampersand. Before BA, I struggled with the composition, hierarchy, even the proper color schemes. The Community is a big part as well, because it helps you to do better, the support and feedback from other letterers, is such an inspiration for future projects.
David Jensen | Big Ampersand™ Founding Member
Big Ampersand is a safe, amazing community populated by so many talented people. The feedback I’ve received on my posted work always propels me forward. The fun monthly challenges keep you producing! Working with Martina and her team has been nothing short of excellent, and it’s been through these teachings and community that I’ve pushed myself in defining who I am as a lettering artist.
Paula Schulzki | Big Ampersand™ Founding Member
Before I joined Big Ampersand I felt a bit disconnected and isolated. I didn't have anyone to bounce ideas off of or ask advice. When I'm ready to leave my current full-time day job I know that BA will be there for me to help me make the Big Leap and hopefully it won't be quite as scary as trying to do it all on my own. Being part of this community keeps me on my toes and continues to challenge me, as well as improve my self-confidence.
Lee Anne Mundy | Big Ampersand™ Founding Member
Through Big Ampersand my overall letter skills have improved, but I feel like it’s refreshed my design approach for all projects not just lettering pieces. The Pro Training sessions are so informative, and have added to skills to my arsenal. The community is so supportive and creative. It’s awesome to have international perspectives.
Jessica Koman | Big Ampersand™ Founding Member
Big Ampersand provides a great opportunity to share knowledge and grow as a lettering artist both technically and in the development of your professional project.
